two magazines popped into my inbox this morning-- the new Matchbook and the Valentine's issue of Rue-- so I treated myself to them while I was eating lunch...
flipping through e-magazines is NOT THE SAME as flipping through a real magazine. it somewhat fills the void, but I find that I don't really pay as much attention to the articles and instead, focus on the photos and what is hyperlinked within the digital pages. I click on all the goodies that I want (emphasis on want), so that everything opens in seperate tabs. then when I'm done "reading" the "magazine", I'll go through all the tabs and Svpply all the stuff that caught my eye. here are a few things that I would very much like to have:
painting by Elizabeth Chapman / Nate Berkus for Target acrylic tortoise shell / Sephora + Pantone gold brush set / Anthropologie Abate Slatted Mirror
that was just a few of the things that I pulled outta Matchbook. you can see what else I'm coveting by checking out my Svpply. in the age of pinning and following...I just get so overwhelmed. I've already discussed this here, so excuse me if I'm beating a dead horse. but I still love Svpply and use it regularly. it's where I save all of the stuff I want to buy and it's fun to go through occasionally...even when I come across stuff on Pinterest that I want to buy, I'll click through to the source and then Svpply it. I use Pinterest as more of a place for inspirational images...
anyway. I want pretty stuff. that basically sums up this post.
you know how the Coveteur always does the "5 Things I Can't Live Without" lists? I've been trying to come up with my own personal list of 5 things that I can't live without. but the "things" have to be somewhat material, it can't be like....air, water, food, love. I know for sure that my iPhone would be number one on that list.
hm, this is hard. what would your 5 things be??
